April & Rod : Engagement : The Mighty Shrikes

I had such a blast shooting this engagement session with April and Rod. Rod is a part of the Navy’s Strike Fighter Squadron 94 “The Mighty Shrikes” so we visited his home base to capture these two love birds. It’s always a pleasure to work with couples who effortlessly enjoy themselves. After the Lemoore Naval Air Base we visited one of my favorite places to shoot, The Palm Bluffs on the San Joaquin River. We took a little walk on a dusty trail and I laid in some weeds, which made for some fun shots. I’m excited to be joining April & Rod in March for their garden wedding in Cambria, CA.
