It was only about a month ago that I met Randy and Brett. They were playing a rather unconventional venue with a loud crowd of drinkers and social butterflies. It was an amazing show as I’m sure most of their performances are. For the last song Randy decided to play off mic and off stage, his guitar unplugged. It was more than a performance; it was an emotional expression deep from within. It was a special performance and everyone listened in closely for this off stage gift of music. It was only minutes after we met Randy and started talk of an event within our clothing store. It would be for music appreciators, and they would play the full set with no audio equipment. It would be an intimate event with only a hand full of those who would listen intently to the whole set. It would be a chance for Randy and Brett to express them selves to a group of strangers who were there to learn music and learn about these two who have poured their lives into music. It was all this and more. It was difficult to take pictures during these amazing songs, but I couldn’t help make record of this wonderful event.
